
Aamir Khan took a break from acting after the release of his blockbuster "3 Idiots" in 2009 to concentrate on his home productions "Peepli Live", "Dhobi Ghat" and "Delhi Belly". Meanwhile, after reading numerous scripts Aamir Khan has finally signed his next film.
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar have teamed up once again for an untitled suspense drama. They last worked together a decade ago in Farhan Akhtar's debut film "Dil Chahta Hai" which was a super hit. The script of the new movie is co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and will be directed by Reema Kagti. The film will go on floors in february and would release in 2011.
"I found the script written by Reema and Zoya really exciting and I am looking forward to working with Ritesh and Farhan once again", Aamir said in a statement.
Aamir Khan will not only be acting in the movie but will also be co-producing the movie with Farhan's And Ritesh's Excel Entertainment.
Ritesh said, "I have been waiting to work with Aamir since "Dil Chahta Hai" and its finally happening. It's special this time as we are also producing it together… I can't wait to start filming."
"It feels great to be collaborating with Aamir a decade after 'DCH'. We had been hoping to do a film together since then and I'm thrilled that it is finally happening with this script", said Farhan who is currently busy with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don 2 in Berlin.
