The new Pepsi Shadi commercial featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee (Director of Wake Up Sid) is one of the most hilarious TVC in recent times. This amusing ad also celebrates the intrepid attitude and spirit of friendship. The plot of the TVC revolves around how a young Indian girl is being wheedled by her father into an arranged marriage. When the suitor with his parents come to meet the girl and her family Ranbir Kapoor makes an entry and complains to the boy about ditching him in an affair. The suitor and everybody around, look at Ranbir in surprise. Meanwhile another boy played by Ayan comes in the scene and he too complains for the same. Finally, the girl gets rescued and comes to thank her buddies. To this Ranbir promptly says, "Who came to save you? We have only come to guzzle Pepsi".
This is Ayan's first TV commercial. Both Ranbir and Ayan have played the Gay character with full perfection. The ad will surely bring a smile on your face.
